Crighton Anderson Property and Infrastructure Limited, trading as Colliers International, would like to announce that founder and former executive director Tim Crighton resigned from his positions as director and member of the board, effective 31 March 2020.
Tim has gradually transitioned out of his day-to-day role in the business over the past year due to health issues but remained part of the leadership team to ensure a successful succession process.
Chris Boyd was appointed as Executive Director and Chair of the Board of Directors during this period.
“Over the past year Chris, Blue and I have worked together to ensure a smooth transition with minimal impact on the team and our clients. This process has now been completed successfully.
“It has been an amazing and rewarding experience to work alongside so many talented individuals who were part of this team over the past 24 years since we founded the firm. We have achieved a great deal together and built a solid reputation as market leaders during this time.
“It is an emotional decision for me to leave the business, but at the same time I am confident that the firm will continue to be synonymous with high professional standards and will keep growing and maintaining its leadership position in our field. I am confident I am leaving the business in good shape and in safe hands. It will be exciting to follow its future progress”, said Tim Crighton.
“It has been a privilege to work with Tim over the years and as a team and business we have benefited tremendously from his experience, knowledge and guidance. Tim had mentored most of our current lead specialists and has played a crucial role in building the team to what it is now. Tim leaves an enduring legacy behind and on behalf of all our staff and our valued clients I would like to wish Tim all the very best in his future endeavours”, said Executive Director Chris Boyd.
“On behalf of the team and all shareholders, we would like to express our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to Tim, as founder and long-term executive director, for all his efforts and perseverance building the practice and steering it in the right direction during trying times”, added Blue Hancock.
